Big Brother 2020: Shane Vincent reveals his real world shock after eviction

Shane Vincentwas shocked to be evicted from the Big Brother home — but it surely was nothing in comparison with the shock he obtained when he referred to as his spouse.

“First thing I did was I cried because I was out of the house and wasn’t going to win any money, then I went back to the hotel room and called my wife … and found out about COVID-19, no toilet paper, no food, no nothing,” he mentioned.

“It was out of control. The kids were getting ripped out of school. I thought she was joking, It felt like the world was going crazy and there was some sort of apocalypse going on, quite strange.”

Vincent was evicted on tonight’s episode after being nominated by Broken Hill’s Mat Garrick, who went after the Gold Coaster in revenge for an earlier eviction try.

Part of the dominant “alpha” group in the home, Garrick was incensed anybody would dare to attempt to boot him from the home, however Vincent says it was nothing private, simply all a part of the sport.

“I think he was a bit upset that someone would go after him ,” he mentioned.

Vincent mentioned whereas that he was dissatisfied to be out of the Big Brother home and in pandemic-induced quarantine in his own residence, it wasn’t all dangerous, particularly as he not needed to dwell off the meagre rations.

“My house is a lot more comfy, I at least had access to beer and food,” he mentioned.

“I lost about six kilos in the house and put back on about eight in a week.”

This weekend, Seven confirmed the present has been renewed for subsequent 12 months with host Sonia Kruger additionally set to return.

“I’m very excited it’s back next year,” Kruger, mentioned.

“It’s been fantastic to reunite Big Brother with his fans and see a whole new generation of Australians fall in love with the show.”
