Dustin Hoffman to star in first Broadway show since 1989

Producer Scott Rudin will convey actor Dustin Hoffman to Broadway in a 2021 staging of “Our Town,” to be directed by Bartlett Sher (“To Kill A Mockingbird”).

Hoffman will play the function of the Stage Manager in the traditional Thornton Wilder play, sources shut to the manufacturing say.

One of the best and most beloved examples of theatrical Americana, “Our Town” follows the lives, loves and losses contained inside the small city of Grover’s Corners between 1901 and 1913. The Stage Manager serves because the narrator and information by the tales of the fictional city.
