The game, whose exact release date is not yet known, but we can predict that it will be with us in the Autumn season, will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. Konami has not made an official promotion yet, but as of now, it is possible to try the game, which is under development, unconditionally. You can download the open beta test, which has started as of today, from PlayStation and Xbox stores by searching for ‘New Football Game Online Performance Test’ and try it until Thursday, July 8, 2021.

Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona will be able to choose a limited number of teams, each consisting of twenty-two players, during this process where the online matchmaking system and the quality of connection to the servers will be tested, according to the Japanese broadcaster.

During the open beta test, where a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription is not required , it will be possible to play with cross-platform support between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and Xbox One and Xbox Series. After July 8, 2021, this version will not be accessible and the progress will not be carried over to the final version. It has also been said that unplanned maintenance(s) may be performed.

Finally, Konami reminds that eFootball PES 2022 is still under development, noting that unexpected bugs and crashes may occur. In addition to these, he also says that the gameplay mechanics, general balance of the game, animations, and visuals will be improved until the final version is reached.
