Japanese car company Honda Cars have launched its third BS6 emission standard vehicle. Honda has launched its best-selling mid-size sedan car Honda City with a new engine. However, only its petrol engine is upgraded. The company started an advance booking of this car only last month.
Prices Start From 9.91 Lakhs
Honda has kept the initial ex-showroom price of the new Honda City at Rs 9.91 lakh. At present, the company has launched only its petrol variant in the BS6 engine. At the same time, its BS6 diesel engine will be launched later. The ex-showroom price of the top variant of Honda City is up to Rs 14.31 lakh. The price of BS6 is almost nine to 15 thousand rupees more than BS4. Earlier, the company is already selling Honda CR-V petrol and Honda Civic petrol with a BS6 engine.
Digipad 2.0 Infotainment System
Honda City has been launched with both manual and automatic transmissions. The new model will get the Digipad 2.0 infotainment system, which will be available only in V, VX and ZX models. The 17.7-cm touchscreen infotainment system will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Sport, along with features such as built-in satellite navigation, live traffic support, USB Wi-Fi receiver, and voice commands.
1.5-Liter Petrol Engine
The BS6 standard four-cylinder 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine delivers 118 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque. At the same time, it comes with a six-speed manual gearbox. The new Honda City with BS-6 engine will come in four variants City 1.5 SV MT, City 1.5 V MT, City 1.5 VX MT, City 1.5 ZX MT. At the same time, its length will be 4,440 mm, height 1,495 mm and width 1695 mm. At the same time, its wheelbase will be 2,600 mm.
