Paramount Plus not Working on Vizio Smart TV

#1. Check Internet Connection:

Check your internet connection first. YouTube is an easy way to test. If your internet is working, then you can check your internet speed using speedtest.net. Also, you can select network test by pressing the menu button on the remote.

Vizio tv will now check your internet connection. Having a slow connection may cause you to get stuck on the Paramount Plus loading screen. To improve the internet connection, move the router closer to the Vizio TV.

Additionally, you can use an Ethernet connection if you need faster speed. Those steps won’t help, so try unplugging your router for 10-15 minutes. #2. Power Cycle

Most Vizio tv owners can fix the Paramount+ not working problem by power cycling. You will be able to hard reset your Vizio TV and remove any temporary glitch that is preventing the smart cast from working. Here are the steps to power cycling your Vizio tv.

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote and select the System.
  2. Choose admin and reset.
  3. Choose soft power cycle from the drop-down menu.

2. Hard Reset

#3. Unplug Vizio TV from Wall

The most common way to fix the problem is to unplug your Vizio TV from the wall socket.

Here, it’s important to wait for the FULL 60 seconds. Be patient and wait at least a minute before plugging it in again.

As long as Paramount+’s servers are down, all you can do is wait. You can’t fix any server-related problems yourself.

#5. Update Your Firmware

It is possible for software issues to cause problems with the Paramount app not loading on your Vizio TV. It’s always a good idea to make sure the software on your TV is the latest version.

In most cases, Vizio TV will check for and install software updates automatically if it is connected to the internet. Sometimes, this process gets interrupted and your TV runs outdated software.

To update the firmware on your TV, follow the steps listed below.

Step 1: Press the ‘Menu’ button on the remote.

Step 2: Go to System > Check for Updates.

Step 3: To begin the update, select ‘Confirm’ if there is an update available

Step 4: Wait for the update to finish.

#6. Reset the TV to Factory Settings

If your Paramount+ not working, you may need to reset the TV to its factory settings. The latest firmware on your TV can also be updated if it contains any known firmware bugs.

You probably guessed it, it’s time to restore your TV to its default settings. The hardware or software is faulty if nothing has helped.
