If you do have a data plan, the next step is to check your phone’s connection to the T-Mobile network. One way to do this is to turn off your phone’s airplane mode and then turn it back on. You should also make sure that you’re in an area with good T-Mobile coverage.

If you’re still having trouble, you can try resetting your phone’s network settings. If none of these solutions work, you may need the below steps to fix it.

How to Fix T-Mobile Internet not Working on iPhone

Restart your iPhone

It is one of the most basic ways to solve any problem related to the network issue. In most cases, it works if there is a minor error, such as the internet does not work correctly. Therefore, if the normal reboot cannot solve the load problem, try to give a full reboot.

  • Press and Release Volume Up Button, Press and Release Volume Down Button, and then Press Power Button until you see Apple Logo.

Check T-Mobile’s Outage Report

So, before you fix a problem that might not be happening to many others, you should first check if a real problem is happening with T-Mobile servers.

It is possible to check the status of the servers in several ways, but we recommend using the DownDetector:

This page shows a map of the outages (if any) on this streaming media platform.

Until T-Mobile resolves the issue on its end, it is best to wait until the servers are up and running again.

If, however, nothing is wrong with T-Mobile’s servers, proceed to the following method.

Turn Off Airplane Mode and Turn On

Turning on airplane mode for a few minutes and then turning it off might fix any network problems if there is no outage in the area and you have enough coverage. There is a possibility that your device will only work on 3G or E instead of 4G.

The issue can be resolved by turning on airplane mode. This can be done either from the quick menu or from the settings.

Your mobile phone’s ability to connect to a network is disabled when in airplane mode. When you turn off airplane mode, the network settings are refreshed.

Remove and Re-insert SIM Card

If you’re experiencing issues with your internet service, one troubleshooting step you can try is removing and re-inserting your SIM card. This process is fairly simple and only takes a few minutes to do.

First, locate your SIM card. It should be in the same place as your body right below the power button side. Once you’ve found it, use a SIM ejector tool or a small paperclip to remove the SIM card from its tray.

After the SIM card has been removed, take a look at it to make sure there’s no dirt or debris on it. If there is, gently clean it off with a soft cloth. Once the SIM card is clean, re-insert it into the tray and make sure it’s seated correctly.

After you’ve re-inserted the SIM card, power on your device and check whether the Internet is working or not.

Check Network Connection

Finally, if you’re still having issues connecting to the internet, reset your network settings.

1. Open the Settings app. Tap General.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the list. Tap Reset.

3. Tap Reset Network Settings. Enter your passcode if prompted, then tap Reset Network Settings to confirm your choice.

Change APN Settings

In case neither of the above methods works, you might have to change the APN settings on your iPhone.

If your carrier allows it, you can view your APN settings in one of the following locations:

  • Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Network
  • Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Mobile Data Network
  • Name: fast.t-mobile.com
  • MMSC: mms.msg.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
  • MNC: 260
  • MCC: 310
  • Type of APN: Default, Supl, Hipro, Fota, MMS
  • APN Protocol: IPv6
  • Roaming: IPv4

Update Your Device

The app may not work due to a problem with your device’s operating system. This can be resolved by updating the software on your device.

Step 1: On your device, click on Settings.

Step 2: Go to the General tab and tap Software Updates.

Step 3: Click Download and Install to finish updating your device.

Check if the internet working again after updating your device.

Disable VPN Services

A VPN allows you to bypass restrictions imposed by your ISP or other platforms on your network and protects your privacy.

The service does not support VPNs because they mask your IP address, and there is geo-restricted content available.

However, there are some VPNs that work inefficiently and can cause network slowdowns, especially if you connect to a slow server.
